I just found out that I am being required to attend an off-site work related meeting on Friday of this week. I will not be able to work only 4 days this week because my co-worker is off work so it will be "longer" week already.
The meeting is at least 30 minutes further away than my job - and I must be on time (meeting begins at 8am). They are then holding a "reception" from 5-6pm.
Let's all do the math, shall we? This means I must leave my house by 6:30 a.m. - and will return home if I'm lucky by 7:30 p.m.
This is not going to work at all.

OMG! you are really scaring me! I understand what a difficult situation you are in right now, but how are you going to manage that without crashing??
ReplyDeleteI was feeling really good (for me) the otherday so I asked a friend to take me to a cafe. We went somewhere very close to home and parked rght outside, had lunch came home and was soooo happy to have been able to leave the house!!! But .. the next day had to spend most of the day in bed feeling rotten. I really can't imagine how your body wil get you through ...
Best of luck (but use your common sense and listen to your body!!). xx

ReplyDeleteI'm a bit scared myself to be honest. I've decided to book a room where the meeting is (I have to make all the arrangements after all) and if I have to I am going to plan on "excusing myself" for a break. I'm fully prepared to be down for the entire weekend as a result of this - but honestly I'm quite discouraged also by the situation.
